Public Venues Credentialing Guide

On behalf of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, I am excited to share our latest tool, the Public Venues Credentialing Guide.

The Public Venues Credentialing Guide offers best practices to stakeholders for developing and implementing credentialing procedures at public venues hosting a variety of events, including sporting events, concerts, fairs and family festivals, conventions, theme parks, and other events or functions where American’s gather.

We would like to offer our sincere thanks to the Public Venues Credentialing Guide Working Group for their effort on this valuable resource. This is the second in our series of document updates, beginning with last year’s release of the Public Venues Bag Search Guide . Next will be the Public Venues Patron Screening Guide . The focus of the guides and additional protective measures will then be consolidated into the capstone document, the Public Venues Protective Measures Guide, which is due in late 2021.
