Good Morning!

As we all transition to this “new normal,” each day brings new insights into ways our industry is navigating change together through the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. For the first time in IAVM’s 95 years of bringing our members physically together to learn and network at Venue Connect , we find ourselves unable host the physical conference and trade show in Long Beach as originally scheduled.

With everyone’s health and safety as our top priority, we will be transitioning Venue Connect 2020 to a virtual format. Known for providing quality networking and education, IAVM’s virtual conference will continue to provide our industry the most timely and relevant education sessions, discussion groups, networking opportunities, and more. This year, it will be from the comfort and safety of your home or office.

The VC20 planning committee and staff are already working hard to generate up-to-date sessions. We plan to focus strongly on navigating the current changes in our industry with topics relating to reopening guidelines and/or considerations, what we have learned thus far in dealing with COVID-19, and more.

Details for virtual VC20, including education sessions, networking opportunities, etc., are in the works and will be communicated soon. Be watching IAVM News for updates!

While we will not be face-to-face for VC20, we will still be able to connect you with important events and “meetings” virtually! Mark your calendars for these “do not miss” events!

  • IAVM Annual Business Meeting, Wednesday, July 15, 2020, 4 PM ET/3 PM CT/2 PM MT/1 PM PT via ZOOMcast – email regarding registration will be sent soon.
  • VC20 Awards and Passing of the Gavel Presentation, Wednesday, July 29, 2020 via ZOOMcast – invitation and registration information will be emailed at least two weeks prior to the event

We look forward to virtually “seeing” you at VC20, where we will all Navigate Change Together!
